Synesthia Art Show Exhibition
at The Hive, Chester NJ
In this show, I had the honor of working alongside the very talented artist, Angelina Tufariello. It was a dream come true when Angie invited me to co-host with her! The show opening's turnout was spectacular. I got to showcase my pieces "Ode to Sleep" and "One Mind", and closed my first ever gallery art sale. This night was pure magic.

My beautiful best friend, Areej, and I had the pleasure of meeting the Olympic fencing medalist Ibtihaj Muhammed. She is ethereal!
"Ode to Sleep"
In April 2018, One Mind also made its debut in New Jersey's 17th Annual Muslim Interscholastic Tournament, hosted at NJIT. The motif of focus for the competition was rahma, or mercy, in the Islamic context. This event, which offers Muslim students the opportunity to connect with other Muslims and develop leadership skills, allowed me to dive deeper into the concept of rahma and discover exactly what it means to me. I delivered an oral presentation pertaining to my piece, and won 1st place in the fine art category.
